The Crespo-Garcia Lab is part of the School of Optometry at Université de Montréal, where we study the mechanisms underlying retinal and neurovascular disease. We combine in vitro and in vivo approaches, and our work spans molecular and cellular biology, translational models and studies in-human, with the goal of uncovering novel therapeutic targets for vision-threatening and neurodegenerative conditions.
Just as important to us is the people side of the work: we are a collaborative laboratory that values mentorship, and we are proud of the researchers we help train along the way.
If you share our curiosity about vision and retinal pathologies, are interested in collaborating, or are considering starting a master’s/doctorate/postdoc with us, we would love to hear from you.
